LFW Preparation and Model Casting

The preparation work on the run up to fashion week was very busy hence the lack of blogging. I was mainly in Charlie's studio helping her with the finishing touches on the collection and carrying out errands. I also took part in the model casting, this was an exciting day as we were beginning to get an idea of the show was going to look. The models completely brought the clothes to life. The stylist Rebecca Sammon, who is also Fashion Editor of Used Magazine, had been round to the studio the day before to discuss how the collection would be styled. It was really interesting to see how she decisively worked each item of clothing making each one stand out as much as possible and giving an overall edgy look. The Make-up Artist Thom Ticklemouse messed around with make-up ideas; he played with bold geometric shapes above the eye to really make the simplicity of the S/S'13 collection come to life.
